They should be able to concisely and accurately share knowledge with their teammates.</span></p></div><h3 data-pm-slice="1 1 []"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">ABOUT THE ROLE:</span></h3> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">We're looking for a talented individual who can combine technical expertise with creative vision to deliver exceptional audio-visual experiences. As an AV (Audio/Visual) Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge AV systems that enhance our collaboration, presentation, and event spaces. Your expertise will help create immersive and engaging environments that inspire our teams and leave a lasting impression on our guests.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></h3> <ul> <li>Engineer unique AV solutions: <ul> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement unique AV solutions that meet the specific needs of our spaces and events.</li> <li>Stay up to date with the latest AV technologies to ensure our solutions are innovative, reliable and user-friendly.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Build amazing spaces: <ul> <li>Work closely with our construction, Spaceport and design teams to create immersive and engaging spaces that showcase our brand and culture.</li> <li>Ensure our spaces are outfitted with state-of-the-art AV systems that support collaboration, productivity and creativity.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Support events: <ul> <li>Provide technical expertise and support for SpaceX and Spaceport events, including Starship launches, village gatherings, concerts and other high-profile events.</li> <li>Ensure seamless execution of AV systems, lighting, and automation to create kick-ass event experiences.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</span></h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalency certificate.</li> <li>2 years of professional experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware, software, and IP networks within a mid to large enterprise environment for AV support.</li> <li>Q-SYS Level 1 Certification.</li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</span></h3> <ul> <li>Experience working with construction CAD drawings, Power/Data line drawings, signal flow, AV concepts.</li> <li>Q-SYS Level 2 and Control Certifications.</li> <li>Experience with Dante and AES67 protocols.</li> <li>Comprehensive knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and industry standards for a broad range of live show and installed AV systems, including audio, video, broadcast, lighting, lasers and facility infrastructure.</li> <li>Experience with Dante and AES67 protocols.</li> <li>Experience deploying SACN and Art-Net lighting control systems.</li> <li>LED wall installation experience.</li> <li>Experience splicing and terminating various cable types.</li> <li>Experience with sound and acoustic design/engineering.</li> <li>Expertise in customer service, problem solving and teamwork abilities.</li> <li>Working knowledge of video conferencing solutions and support. </li> </ul> <h3>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</h3> <ul> <li>Must be physically fit enough to regularly lift up to 30 lbs. for duties such as delivering computers, unpacking and rack-mounting equipment, etc.</li> <li>Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.</li> <li>Must be willing to travel (<20%).</li> <li>Must be flexible to work various shift patterns (i.e. early morning to afternoon, or afternoon to later evening).</li> <li>Must be able to pass a background check required for this role.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:</strong></h3> <p>$100,000 - $120,000 USD</p> <p>Base salary is just one part of our total rewards package at SpaceXAI, which also includes equity, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short & long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and various other discounts and perks.</p> <h3>ITAR REQUIREMENTS:</h3> <ul> <li>To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
